There was a time when people often asked us to copy specific board models way back when, and this one certainly looks familiar but that’s where it stops. We do use comparative outlines and similar principles that have success and value when we build our own signature models like everyone else.

Creating models means testing, adjusting and refining to get our boards performing at their best. The E.T. is an Extra Terrestrial type thing and probably should be on another planet but this board really works, both as a thruster and a quad or as a twin with trailer.

While better surfers will revel with the looseness and ability of this board to be surfed tight in the pocket, intermediates will also feel comfortable with such a stable platform under their feet.

This board is a demon paddler with extra volume where it’s needed while being surprisingly fast and loose thanks to its engine room configuration. This board will easily handle overhead waves. Surf it with any fin configuration you like, the choice is yours but surf it with 1.5-3.0 extra liters above your general shortboard and you’ll be pleasantly surprised.
