The Nomad is generically a modern single fin with added side bites for extra grip and bite, something like having wider tires for extra traction when cornering.

We've kept our traditional single fin outline subtle with a nice round pin tail for fun. We understand surfboards need to balance speed, drive, and maneuverability and the Nomad does this well. The added side bites really hold their own when you're in powerful waves or when pushing hard turns on rail.

If your stoke is feeling the glide just use the one fin but make sure it’s a good one because there's a lot of bad fin templates out there holding people back from their true potential. If you want to surf harder in more critical situations simply add the side-bites for the extra hold and traction.
